Course Description:
The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider course is designed for a wide variety of healthcare professionals. This class teaches the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is a required learning course for all healthcare professionals.
Designed for: Healthcare Providers (Nurses and Nursing Students; Physicians; Medical/Dental Assistants; Physical and Occupational Therapists)

Class Length: 4 - 4.5 hours
Cost/Person: Only $65
Textbook: You must have a current AHA student manual for the class you are taking that is current with the current AHA guidelines being taught (Currently 2010 until 2015 materials are published). You may purchase this book from us, another source, or utilize a book that you have used for a previous renewal, as long as it is within the current guidelines being taught. If you do not have a book on the day of the class, you may purchase one from us at that time.
Cancel Policy:
If cancellation occurs two (2) or more business days prior to the class date, you may reschedule the class or receive a full refund. If cancellation occurs less than two (2) days prior to the class date, while refunds cannot be issued, you may reschedule the class at another date at no additional charge.*
Admittance to class will not be allowed if arriving late by 15 minutes or more.
*Students seeking to utilize a credit from a cancelled class can do so one (1) time. A second cancellation will result in forfeit of the credit.
You are required to have the current textbook for this course. If you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase one here.
